Engineering
If the scope of the project includes conceptual design, our engineers carefully assess the client’s needs. The requirements of regulating authorities and the physical demands of the location are also taken into consideration.
When all requirements are known, conceptual research starts to identify the exact range between the best possible solution and a 'fit for purpose' solution. This helps to define possible decisions to be made before implementation, based on factors such as budget and specific operational conditions.
The final concept is then transformed into a precisely engineered plan, which is used for detailed design. Stress and strength calculations are performed according to internationally recognized standards such as Caesar II, ATV A-127 and AWWA C950. The detailed design serves as the basis for the fabrication of 'spools'.
